مركز شاهد يستضيف وفداً من روابط التوأمة وجمعية أصدقاء نابلس لتعزيز التعاون ودعم المبادرات التنموية 

أبرزها الدعم التنموي: وفد بريطاني يزور مركز شاهد في نابلس لتعزيز الشراكة المجتمعية

استضاف مركز شاهد لحقوق المواطن والتنمية المجتمعية، وفداً ضم ممثلين عن رابطة توأمة دندي – نابلس، ورابطة توأمة شيفيلد – نابلس، وجمعية أصدقاء نابلس وما حولها (FONSA) في المملكة المتحدة، وذلك في إطار تعزيز التعاون والشراكة، وتطوير المبادرات التنموية والمجتمعية الداعمة لمحافظة نابلس.

وخلال اللقاء، استعرض المركز أبرز برامجه ومشاريعه المشتركة مع المؤسسات والجهات الشريكة، مسلطاً الضوء على مجالات التعاون والإنجازات المتحققة في عدد من القطاعات، والتي شملت دعم طلبة المدارس، ومساندة المزارعين، وزراعة أشجار الزيتون في الأراضي المهددة، إلى جانب دعم طلبة الجامعات، ولا سيما في تخصصات التمريض والقبالة، بما يسهم في تعزيز فرص التعليم وتمكين الشباب ودعم التنمية المجتمعية.

كما بحث الجانبان سبل مواصلة الشراكة وتوسيع آفاق التعاون المشترك، وتطوير مبادرات ومشاريع نوعية تسهم في تعزيز صمود المجتمعات المحلية، والاستجابة لاحتياجاتها، وتحسين الظروف المعيشية للفئات المستهدفة.

وفي سياق الزيارة، توجه الوفد إلى بلدية سبسطية، حيث اطلع على واقع البلدة واحتياجاتها، وبحث آفاق التعاون المشترك وإمكانيات تنفيذ مبادرات داعمة للمجتمع المحلي، بما يعزز صموده ويسهم في تلبية احتياجاته التنموية.

وتأتي هذه الزيارة في إطار الجهود الرامية إلى توطيد علاقات الشراكة والتعاون مع المؤسسات الصديقة والداعمة، وتعزيز العمل المشترك لخدمة المجتمع المحلي في محافظة نابلس.

#Witness_Center Hosts Delegation from Twinning Associations and Friends of Nablus to Strengthen Cooperation and Support Development Initiatives

Witness Center for Citizen Rights and Community Development hosted a delegation comprising representatives of the Dundee–Nablus Twinning Association, the Sheffield–Nablus Twinning Association, and the Friends of Nablus and Surrounding Areas Society (FONSA) in the United Kingdom, as part of efforts to strengthen cooperation and partnerships and develop community and development initiatives supporting Nablus Governorate.

During the meeting, the Center presented its key programs and projects implemented in partnership with various institutions and organizations, highlighting areas of cooperation and achievements across several sectors. These included supporting school students, assisting farmers, planting olive trees on land at risk, and providing support to university students, particularly those studying nursing and midwifery, thereby contributing to expanding educational opportunities, empowering young people, and promoting community development.

Both sides also discussed ways to sustain their partnership, broaden prospects for joint cooperation, and develop impactful initiatives and projects that contribute to strengthening the resilience of local communities, addressing their needs, and improving living conditions for targeted groups.

As part of the visit, the delegation also visited the Municipality of Sebastia, where they were briefed on the town’s current situation and needs. Discussions focused on potential areas of cooperation and opportunities to implement initiatives supporting the local community, strengthening its resilience, and addressing its development needs.

The visit comes as part of ongoing efforts to strengthen partnerships and cooperation with friendly and supporting institutions and promote joint action in service of the local community in Nablus Governorate.
